The Orsino Singers is a friendly choir based in central Cambridge. We rehearse 7:30-9:15 pm on Thursday evenings, usually in the Parish Centre at Little Saint Mary’s Church on Trumpington Street. We sing sacred and popular works from early music to contemporary compositions. See our repertoire page for the full list.

Upcoming dates

Spring term 2026
Thursday 15 January – Thursday 26 March 2026. (Half-term break: Thursday 19 February.) The Spring Concert of music by German & Austrian composers will be on Saturday 28 March 2026 at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Dry Drayton. The programme includes Mozart’s ‘Mass in C major, K 167′, Brahms’ Wie Lieblich sind Deine Wohnungen (How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place), Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus and Bach’s ‘Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring’.

Tour to Beverley
We are planning a tour to the historic market town of Beverley for the weekend of 11-12 April 2026. We’ll be giving a concert at St Mary’s Church on the evening of Saturday 11 April, and joining the choir there for their morning service on Sunday 12 April.

Membership
Choir members are charged a subscription of £80 a term to cover the choir’s running costs. All members are also asked to cover the cost of music as and when required.
